This is an on-site, full-time position working across several locations in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Hiring is under a PJ (contractor) arrangement, at coordinator level, with negotiable pay and 1 open position. The position is open to people with disabilities.
Accrua is the AI-native operating system for hospitals: we run the private healthcare revenue cycle end to end, with artificial intelligence agents and specialists, to give hospitals back the revenue that is rightfully theirs.
We are looking for a leader to plan and supervise Accrua's denial appeals activities, working across several locations.
Role mission
Coordinate the team that analyzes, audits and recovers denials, minimizing the impact on the billing of the hospitals Accrua serves and ensuring the accuracy of submitted bills.
Main responsibilities
- Plan and supervise denial appeals activities.
- Control and take part in account analysis and reconciliation, checking balances and correcting possible errors.
- Analyze and audit medical claim forms to reduce the impact of denials on billing.
- Coordinate the team and promote its continuous education.
- Gather data and information for leadership and present denial results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospital Management; postgraduate degree or MBA.
- Proven experience in hospital claims auditing or denial appeals, at a hospital or health plan.
- Knowledge of the AMB, CBHPM, TUSS, Simpro and Brasíndice tables and of payer contracts.
- Course in hospital billing and denial appeals.
- Advanced Microsoft Office.

- Experience with systems such as MV 2000, MV Soul, Tasy, SPDATA, Visual ASA and denial management tools.
