Terms of Use

1. What the Site is

The Site presents Accrua and its hospital revenue cycle management solutions and publishes content on billing, denials, auditing, private healthcare and related topics, as well as downloadable materials, calculators, events and contact channels.

These Terms don't apply to the Accrua OS platform or to services contracted by customers, which are governed by their respective contracts and specific terms.

2. Informational content

The Site's articles, materials, data and tools are for informational and educational purposes. They don't constitute legal, accounting, tax, financial, medical or audit advice, and don't replace analysis by qualified professionals for each specific case.

ANS rules, professional council rules and legislation, as well as hospital–payer contracts, change frequently and vary case by case. We show each piece of content's publication and update date and the sources used, but we always recommend checking the rule and contract in force before making decisions.

3. Calculators, templates and materials

The Site's calculators produce estimates based on the data you enter and the assumptions described in each tool. Results are not a promise of results or a commercial proposal.

Document templates (for example, denial appeal templates) and spreadsheets are references that must be adapted to each institution and contract. Use of these materials is the user's responsibility.

4. Permitted use

You may freely browse, read, download materials made available for download and share links to the Site.

Citing content. We encourage citing our content and data. You may reproduce short excerpts as long as you credit Accrua as the source and include a link to the original page. Full or substantial reproduction of articles, materials or databases, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, requires prior written authorization.

5. Prohibited use

By using the Site, you agree not to:

• violate the law or third-party rights;
• attempt to access restricted areas, systems or data without authorization, or harm the Site's operation and security;
• send viruses, malicious code or a volume of requests that overloads the Site;
• collect personal data from other users;
• present Accrua content as your own, remove authorship notices or use Accrua trademarks in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement that doesn't exist;
• provide false information in forms or registrations.

6. Intellectual property

Texts, data, charts, images, videos, materials, tools, code, layout, the Accrua brand, "Accrua OS", "Receita Garantida" and other distinctive signs belong to Accrua or its licensors and are protected by the Brazilian Copyright Law (Law No. 9,610/1998) and Industrial Property Law (Law No. 9,279/1996). Except for the permitted use in item 4, no rights are granted to the user.

7. Forms and personal data

When you fill in contact, event registration or material download forms, you provide data that will be processed under our Privacy & LGPD Policy. Our use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy. You declare that the information provided is true and that you're authorized to share the professional contact details provided.

8. Links to third-party sites

The Site contains links to external sources, such as ANS, industry bodies and publications, so you can check where the information comes from. Accrua doesn't control these sites and isn't responsible for their content, availability or privacy policies.

9. Availability and liability

We strive to keep the Site available, secure and with accurate, up-to-date information, but it may undergo maintenance, technical failures or interruptions, and content may contain inaccuracies that we will correct once identified.

To the extent permitted by law, Accrua is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of the Site's informational content and tools, or for damages resulting from temporary unavailability, misuse of the Site by the user or content on third-party sites.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version and the date of the last update are always on this page. Using the Site after an update indicates agreement with the new version.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to resolve any disputes, except where the law requires a different jurisdiction.
